How do hydraulic pliers work?

Publish Time: 2023-04-26
Hydraulic pliers are devices that use hydraulic oil as energy to control the gripping or placement of objects by robotic arms or fixtures. Hydraulic pliers mainly consist of hydraulic cylinders, fixtures, control systems, and hydraulic oil.
Working principle of hydraulic pliers:
1. Hydraulic oil flows out of the hydraulic pump and enters the control system of the hydraulic tong;
2. The control system of the hydraulic pliers sends hydraulic oil to the inside of the hydraulic cylinder;
3. The entry of hydraulic oil causes the piston in the hydraulic cylinder to move, driving the fixture to complete the action of gripping or placing objects;
When the hydraulic clamp needs to release the fixture, the control system discharges hydraulic oil from the hydraulic cylinder, releases the fixture, and completes the release action.
Hydraulic pliers control the movement of fixtures through the energy of hydraulic oil, which has the characteristics of simple operation, high accuracy, good stability, and strong load capacity. They are widely used in various mechanical manufacturing and logistics transportation industries.
